General Cardiologist sought by Arkansas Heart Hospital.
Duties:Evaluate and manage a wide variety of patients with diseases related to the cardiovascular system. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, hypertension, and inflammatory heart disease. Perform physical exams and order tests, including electrocardiograms (EKG), echocardiograms, and exercise stress tests. Study diagnostic images and electrocardiograph recordings to aid in making a diagnosis. Perform procedures, including, but not limited to, diagnostic heart catheterizations. Prescribe appropriate interventions, therapies, medications, and other treatment modalities. Collect, record, and maintain details of patients’ histories, physical examinations, diagnostic test results, assessments, management plans, and treatment outcomes.
Requirements: Must have a Medical degree or equivalent; completion of residency in Internal Medicine; completion of fellowship in Cardiology; must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine; must have a valid Arkansas medical license.
